At Concept Paints we support ongoing education as an important step in further assisting our industry. We offer a number of comprehensive training courses designed to be industry specific relating to the many technical and specialised product applications we encounter on a daily basis.

Concept Paints training centre, is a purposely built facility located within our head office complex at St Mary’s, Sydney Australia. Our training facility is fully equipped with the latest technical/audio and visual equipment, ensuring all participants who attend any one of our professional technical courses, receive the best technical support and positive learning experience.

Depending on the course attended, some of the Concept Paints training courses can also offer students industry accreditation overseen and conducted in part by TAFE Australia.

A number of refinish technical courses are regularly held at the Concept Paints Training Centre, all designed to meet today’s complex refinish industry standards.

The Concept Paints Training Centre was designed for use by:

  • Automotive refinish industry employees
  • Concept Paints distribution network partners
  • International distributors and their network of customers
  • Intermediate or advanced Painters.

Our courses cover the following subjects, in addition to a number of others:

  • Product range made by Concept Paints, how to use and apply these unique coating products.
  • The correct procedure preparing your vehicle prior to painting.
  • Colour retrieval and successfully matching colours to OEM standards, (this course is intended for intermediated and advanced students only).
  • New technologies and their applications.
  • Automotive grooming techniques.
  • NO MIX LV Basecoat technology theory and practical application.
  • Automotive plastic products refinish techniques and application.
