Rockynats 2021 - VL Commodore

What an awesome event Rockynats was over Easter. There were over 1200 entrants and 20,000 spectators checking out the Elite hall with show cars and brand-new unveilings. On Friday morning over 10,000 people lined the 10 klm street parade route to see over 800 cars cruise through town. There were also street drags in the main street, drifting on the riverbank car park, show and shine in the closed off main street and burnouts across the river.

Concept Paints x Frontier Racing Team

Concept Paints partnered with Pacific Hills Christian School's Frontier Racing Team to sponsor the design and make of their miniature F1 Race Car. Frontier Racing took on the NSW State in November 2019 and won the NSW School Championships.

The team received 6 awards and were crowned the State Champions.

The Frontier Racing Team was granted automatic entry into the Australian National Finals which was held alongside the Australian Grand Prix in March 2020. The team placed 4th overall along with receiving the ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Bosch Team Branding’ awards.

As we are all well aware COVID-19 is presenting challenges across our community and our economy.

Rides Down Under Workshop Wars

Concept Paints teamed up with Valigrunt Performance for Season 2 of the Rides Down Under Workshop Wars show which featured the building of a 1955 Pontiac Gasser with a supercharged Pontiac motor.

The 1955 Pontiac Gasser was named Warsquaw and won the Best Blown trophy, which is an incredible achievement.

You can still catch the Warsquaw being built on 7 Plus.

Transtar's Groundbreaking Ceremony for Their New Training and Colour Development Centre

Our partner, Transtar Automotive Technologies, hosted their groundbreaking ceremony for their new state-of-the-art Training and Colour Development Centre on the 18th June. This ceremony marked the construction on a new training and automotive coatings colour development facility. The building will be added to Transtar’s headquarters and manufacturing plant in Brighton, Michigan.

Cancer Council Shitbox Rally

Shitbox Rally is Australia’s largest independently-run fundraiser for Cancer Council. With a challenge to drive cars worth $1,000 or less across Australia via some of its toughest roads to raise money for cancer research, this remarkable event has raised more than $14.7 million since the first rally in 2010.

Concept Paints showed their contribution and support by spraying their hands on this 94’ Camry, which will be driven from Perth to Sydney via Uluru to raise money for the Cancer Council. It was a pleasure to take part in such a rewarding cause.
